If you would have asked me about Raindrop Therapy a few years ago, I wouldn’t have had a clue what it was, and…I would tell you that it sounded CRAZY! Raindrop Technique? Really? I have a medical massage therapy background with a focus on injury prevention and rehabilitation, so the Term “Raindrop” sounds a bit Far out.
Fortunatley, I have an open mind, and am curious to try all kinds of things. I’ll write a post on the many modalities and self-help things I’ve tried over the years. I could probably have a career as some self-help gadget, therapy, healing practices critic! NO JOKE!!!
Back to the Raindrop Technique…When I decided to schedule one of these sessions for myself, I was very skeptical. In fact, I was just about as skeptical, as I was about essential oils.
However, at that time, I was in a little funk, so what the hell….Let’s go get a Raindrop Treatment.
For about three days after my Raindrop session, I could feel very subtle “adjustments” going on in my spine. It felt like space was being made in between my vertebra, and I was releasing pent up metabolic waste products or old stored junk. I felt GREAT! Even better, was that this hyperactive and energetic girl, felt more calm and relaxed. Hmmmm….needed to know more!
I decided to purchase the Raindrop kit from Young Living and practice on a few people. The next thing you know…I was offering the Raindrop as a service.
The Raindrop technique is truly a remarkable procedure that combines the use of several anti-bacterial essential oils. The Technique was developed over 20 years ago and has brought relief to thousands suffering chronic back pain and other ailments.
Despite initial skepticism, as the years have gone by and dramatic results continue to accumulate, study after study has supported and verified the principles upon which the Raindrop technique is based. As this research accumulates it is becoming clear that the elements of the technique not only help heal the spine, but also benefit significantly other body systems, including the mental and emotional function of the brain.
Some of the benefits:
- Decrease in pain
- Reduces inflammation
- Improves circulation
- Helps Prevent the bacterial and viral causes of spinal misalignment, including scoliosis and kyphosis
- Helps to Relieve stress
- Improves Immune function
- Can facilitate the release of pent-up negative emotions
